Kimberly Wolfe is a Senior HR Generalist at Sage with over 20 years of experience in human resources. At Sage she has managed all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment and on-boarding, performance management, training and development for employees and managers as well as benefits and workers compensation administration. Beyond her normal human resources duties, she has also taken the initiative to contribute to disaster preparedness and business continuity planning programs within the company.
Prior to working in the software development industry, Kimberly spent 14 years in the highly regulated healthcare industry. She stays current on industry trends and activities through her membership with SHRM and has an extensive knowledge of employment laws including FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, FLSA, etc. Kimberly is proud of the work she does for Sage and excited about sharing her knowledge as an active contributor to the Employer Solutions Blog.
Erin Teter is a Sr. Human Resource Generalist at Sage with over 10 years experience in human resources working in the staffing services and software industries. At Sage she closely works with the Nonprofit Solutions and Fixed Assets Solution business units. Her experience includes all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment and on-boarding, performance management, training and development, benefits & HRIS administration. Prior to coming to Sage, Erin worked at Hawkins Personnel Group as a staffing placement & onsite specialist at a Fortune 500 company, and was then a recruiter at IE Discovery, Inc. a discovery management services provider.
Erin holds her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certificate and is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) organization and Williamson County Human Resource Management Association (WCHRMA). Erin’s passion is focusing on employee engagement; believing it is a key driver in the growth of any business. She has been a leader in Sage to be one of the “Best Places to Work in Texas” for the second year in a row. As an active contributor on the Employer Solutions Blog, she is excited to share her knowledge and experiences with readers.
Johnny Laurent is a General Manager for Sage North America, part of Sage Group PLC, the world’s leading vendor of business application software for small and midsized enterprises. Laurent is responsible for the strategic direction of the Sage Employer Solutions business unit, which includes the market-leading Sage HRMS (human resources management system) brand.
Laurent has more than 20 years of experience in the software and hardware industry and joined Sage in 2005. He has been responsible for customer support, learning services, and professional services, previously acting as vice president of customer support and services for Employer Solutions. Prior to joining Sage, Laurent owned and operated an independent customer support consultancy and served in various management and consulting roles for Service Management International, Software AG and USRobotics. Laurent holds a bachelor of science in computer science from Louisiana State University.
Mark Butje is Director of Product Marketing with Sage and is responsible for positioning and product direction of the Sage Employer Solutions product offering, which includes the market-leading Sage HRMS brand.
Mark has more than 20 years of experience in the software and hardware industry and joined Sage in early 2010. Prior to joining Sage, Mark served in various marketing and product marketing roles at Apple, Gateway, Brodeur Marketing and medium size software companies in both the US and in Europe. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands and is a published author, Product Marketing for Technology Companies (Elsevier Science 2005).
Therapist, professor, consultant and radio host, Brandon Smith brings an upbeat, witty approach to the challenges of workplace health and dysfunction.
Brandon is a leading expert in workplace health and dysfunction. He is the founder of TheWorkplaceTherapist.com – a resource dedicated to eliminating dysfunction at work, improving workplace health and restoring optimism and focus in the workplace. Brandon currently serves as faculty at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School where he teaches and researches on topics related to leadership, communication and healthy workplace dynamics.
Kate Vaughan is a Product Marketing Manager with Sage and is responsible for managing the various product marketing activities for Sage Employer Solutions product offerings, which includes the market-leading Sage HRMS (human resource management system) brand. She has in-depth knowledge of the HRMS product line, including human resources, payroll, and extended solutions.
Kate has nearly ten years of experience in the software training, software sales, and healthcare industries and first joined Sage in early 2007 in a pre-sales role. Prior to joining Sage, Kate served as a training consultant developing and delivering learning and performance support for ERP implementations. After a two and a half year hiatus, she re-joined Sage in mid-2011 in her current position, having held other sales and marketing roles in both software and healthcare companies before returning to Sage. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Don Farber has over 25 years experience in the front-office and back-office software industry and is co-founder and Vice President of Vineyardsoft Corporation. Don is a frequent speaker at industry events and author of numerous white papers on such subjects as identifying support rep burnout, enabling organizations to become more ‘data-driven’, and cost-effective compliance. For the past 10 years Don has been a leading spokesperson on the value of Business Activity Monitoring and in 2011 published an ROI Calculator on operational business intelligence.
Lori Loridon, CPP
Lori Loridon is the Director of Payroll and Tax Compliance for the Sage Employer Solutions which includes Sage HRMS. She manages teams of software engineers, quality assurance, user assistance, software requirements and compliance analysts to ensure compliance in Sage HRMS’s payroll and HR software deliveries. Lori, a Certified Payroll Professional, has over 25 years of payroll experience in addition to her technology based education and background. In her 19+ years at Sage Lori has worked in customer support, programming and software design. Lori and her team stay focused and informed through their association with the American Payroll Association, direct contacts with Taxing Authorities and many subscriptions to popular research periodicals for both the U.S. and Canada.
Lori has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Florida Metropolitan University and an Associate Degree in Computer Science from St. Petersburg College. Lori has also held the Professional Human Resources (PHR) designation from SHRM and the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) designation from Microsoft.
People are Mary Anne’s passion. With over 30 years experience in helping people and businesses be their best, Mary Anne is well prepared to help businesses find solutions to their most troubling HR-related dilemmas. Her human resources experiences have elevated her from HR Representative to the VP level in a multi-state health care industry leader before beginning her own consulting business. Along the way she spent time honing her skills in Employee Relations, Staffing, EEOC, Organizational Development, Compensation and Training in the telecommunications, financial, automotive, higher education and health care industries. Her strong communication skills put her at ease on the assembly line as well as in the board room. She knows how to ask the questions, listen to answers and improve an organization by interpreting the impact of human capital on the bottom line.
Deana Dearry is a Regional Sales Manager for the Western US and Canada. In her role she acts as a trusted advisor to the Sage HRMS partner channel, facilitating sales, supporting partner activity, and strengthening customer relationships. In her previous role, Deana led Galaxy / Insperity’s Sage HRMS team to sales and customer service success. She began that role with the implementation and support of Sage Abra Suite and moved on to project management and sales, establishing new vertical markets and channel partner relationships for both Sage and Insperity. She has been in the Sage “family” for more than 16 years having sold and been certified to implement and support Sage HRMS, Sage Abra Suite, Sage 50, Sage 100 Fund Accounting, and Sage BusinessWorks Accounting. Deana also has extensive experience helping grant funded programs and non-profits leverage HRMS solutions to their advantage.
Joe Rotella has been described as “…something of a one-man think tank who is doing more innovative things with the internet than anyone I’ve met.”
Joe joined Delphia Consulting in 2002 as the firm’s Chief Technical Officer following a brilliant career in software design and development with Lucent Technologies and Bell Laboratories. While at Bell Labs, Joe earned the coveted Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) designation.
Joe really racks up the frequent flier miles with his hectic travel schedule. He consults and gives presentations across the nation on HR technology, connecting people through the Web, integrating social media, generational differences in the workplace, and jazzing Websites and employee portals. He’s one of SHRM’s top rated speakers and will be presenting two sessions at the 2011 SHRM Annual Conference;11 Steps to Integrate Social Media into Your Organization and Technology Meets HR: Selecting and Justifying the Right Solution.
Tom Tillman is a seasoned industry executive with over 13 years of experience marketing and managing human resources, benefits and payroll technologies and services. Tom joined Santeon in 2010 as Director and General Manager of the Santeon eBenefits Network.
Tom earned a bachelor’s degree in business management information systems from Florida State University, and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. Tom also holds a PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification.
Mary Kaufman, a 16 year veteran of the software industry, currently serves as Senior Manager of Customer Relations for Sage HRMS. In her role, Mary leads the Employer Solutions business efforts to maximize the customer experience. This includes, developing and analyzing key customer metrics, programs, processes and feedback to key functional departments and partners resulting in continuous improvement in our products, processes and customer experience.
Prior to HRMS, she contributed to Sage’s North American business throughout several product lines including Peachtree, MAS and SalesLogix. Mary began her career working in Training and has held positions of increasing responsibility in Program Management and Customer Relations.
Mary has achieved industry PMP certification as a Program Management Professional and in her spare time she is active with several community and non-profit organizations including the Seminole Youth Athletic Association and the Alpha House of Tampa.
Robin Rothman recently joined Sage as a Product Marketing Manager. Her experience includes over 25 years in Human Resources holding various strategic and tactical Management and Director roles for companies which include Hermann’s World of Sporting Goods, Circuit City Stores Inc., Nobody Beats the Wiz and FEDEX-Kinko’s.
Robin’s experience includes all areas of Human Resources including Associate Relations, Compensation, Affirmative Action, Recruitment, Legal Compliance, Training and Development, HRIS and Employee Benefits.
Prior to joining Sage, she was a long term customer using the HRMS product working the last nine years for Future Skies Inc.; a Software Development Government Defense Contractor based in Wall Township, New Jersey as their Sr. Human Resource Manager while also serving on the company’s Board of Directors.
Robin holds a Bachelor Arts Degree in Business Administration/Management from Flagler College, St. Augustine Florida.
